Redheads feel less pain. This is because when people feel pain the brain releases endorphins to lessen the pain, but since pain is necessary to life it also releases another chemical to kill some endorphins and keep some pain. In redheaded people or animals (at least mice anyway..) the brain lets more endorphins go and thus they feel less pain.
Scientists don't know why people yawn. Yawning is not a result of being fatigued, drowsy or bored. Yawning also isn't done to get more oxygen. Yawning is contagious. Whenever someone sees another person yawn, hears a yawn, reads or even thinks about yawning it causes that person to feel the experience of yawning and then it happens.
